Oh you have SUCH a dirty mind! No, this is not what you're thinking. But thanks for clicking you pervs! I'm going nuts because I keep finding piles of black fur all over my house. Lulu (the tabby) keeps 'plucking' fur out of Sassy. I brush them both regularly - it is shedding season, but this is getting old! And Lulu keeps ending up with mouthfulls of fur - and she's going nuts trying to get Sassy's fur off her tongue. Once it looked like Lulu had a black moustache. And for you pervs, I don't pluck "that", I get it waxed. :P |

I'm actually having the same problem with my cat (who is also Sassy) and my pekinese. Sassy isn't too bad because hers comes out in little white cottony tufts. But Munch-kin's hair is driving me crazy. I don't think there is a surface in my house that isn't covered.

I usually do cut her hair - she'll stand on the patio table and let me cut her for a good 20 mins. It looks really choppy. I'm thinking of going for an electric shaver - that will be a 2 person job.
I went to a local grooming place last year to inquire about having her converted to a short-haired cat for the summer. They said it'd be $80 - I laughed my ass off and walked away.

I really didn't know you could shave a cat. Actually my cat is paranoid of the vacuum so I doubt I'd ever get close to her with the electric shears. I might try the scissors, tho.
