It's carefully packaged at my mom's. Supposedly a doll-collector offered my mom $15k for it. Not bad for a $75 investment eh? posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 03.10.05 (3:35 am) Reply to: Godsmack My dad built me a dollhouse that had carpet, working lights, wallpaper, etc. My mom made curtains and bedspreads. It had a bunk bed in one bedroom and a canopy bed in the other one. Nicest thing he ever did for me... Granted, he mis-measured and the barbies couldn't stand up straight in the rooms. Oh, how I coveted it. Never got it. Guess what my kids are going to get for Chanukah this year, so Mommy can play with it? posted by: SweetDiva (reply) post date: 03.10.05 (12:59 pm) I always wanted a race track or a train track set.....yeah I'm weird. I got the baby dolls and barbies that I wanted. I never wanted a doll house I wanted a dangon track! hmmpf! posted by: jeNniCa77 (reply) post date: 03.10.05 (1:48 pm) i had the oven...loved...had the barbie dolls (but since my best friend was a guy...who i grew up with....i always just snapped their heads off with mouse traps...or shot them with bebee guns!) so i wanted a new born baby...that ate and peed and pood and everything...got it...loved it...handed it down to my little cousin...who still has it.... posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 03.10.05 (4:18 pm) Reply to: jeNniCa77 I had Donny & Marie barbie dolls. (Oh how I luved Donny!) I cut off Marie's hair into a very butch buzz cut and put straight pins in her ears as earrings. I didn't hate her or anything, I was just trying to give her a new look. posted by: trekguy (reply) post date: 03.10.05 (4:53 pm) Lionel train set, the full set, complete with the town and crossings! Big enough to mount on a 4' X 8' piece of plywood in the basement! I went ga-ga over the train set in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, I could have stood there for hours watching that thing!!! posted by: onebadjen (reply) post date: 03.11.05 (3:33 am) do you remember lite brites? i remember wanting one really really bad. i remember getting one. but i don't remember playing with it. i remember having to pick up all the little plastic thingies that went to it though. |
