Dentist this morning. He injected me with one shot and started drilling on my chipped tooth. I think he figured out by my legs flying up in the air that it wasn't enough. So he injected me a 2nd time. Still felt it. 3rd time. STILL felt it. After the 4th injection, I told him just to strap me down and go for it. But the 4th shot was the charm. He drilled away on me. Get your mind out of the gutter... So then my face was numb for the next 5 hours. I slurred and drooled. I'm so glad I had a date today too. LOL Don't try to put red lipstick on when your mouth is numb and you're not looking in the mirror. Trust me. ;) |

I would give one million dollars to spend the whole day with you! From the dentist to your lipstick! I would've even thrown things at your face!

My uncle told me when I was eight that the shot hurt worse than the drilling, so I have been getting drilled with no shot for all that time. I went to the dentist last week and told him about it and he showed me how he does it so you can't even feel the shot! I was amazed. Half my head was numb for Valentines day dinner and I kept worrying that I was going to bite the non feeling half of my tongue off, but there was absolutely no pain. Still trying to come up with what I am going to do with my Uncle the next time I see him.

Sometimes I fake a toothache to get a shot that numbs my face so that I can walk around sounding like a total dork and drool everywhere.

I don't do shots. I would rather have the drill pain than a needle stuck in my mouth. Weird, since a tattoo doesn't phase me!

The shots weren't that big of a deal. It was the after-effects that were the annoying part. And the pain of the drill on my tooth.

LOL about the lipstick. I've totally done that, and regretted it later... Now I just carry clear lip gloss or Chap-Stick if I go to the dentist!
