My first true love was my first husband, and we see how well that turned out, lol. Think I'll just be content with the best love that I have right now :) posted by: grateful1 (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (7:51 pm) my first love was and is an idiot. i did contact him againm like 3 years after we had broekn up....he was even more of an idiot than the first time. oddly enough i had 2 dreams and he was in them in the last 2 months...but im married and happy now!! i know there isnt that spark...i really dont think there ever was but i thought so then!! He's still sexy though and if i wasnt married and we did meet it would only work if he changed any!! posted by: grateful1 (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (7:52 pm) oh but last i heard he wasnt single!! but that never stopped him before..lol..*devilish grin*. but it would stop me now..im different now!! posted by: jennirae269 (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (7:59 pm) No, I'm way beyond that in this point of my life. My "first love" was all good until we got married, and then it was all down hill from there. If I hadn't come out of the closet, and ended that relationship, one or both of us would be dead or in jail by now. posted by: billlyryan (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (8:07 pm) I had a boyfriend, if you can call him that, when I was twelve and he was 14. Michael Love. We "went together" off and on until I was eighteen. We met in the group home we both lived in and still stayed together after we were out. He had long, square tipped fingers with the cleanest fingernails I'd ever seen. His skin was so clear and smooth I used to just touch it with the back of my hand. When we were in the group home we talked about us riding down by the inlet on his motorcycle and how we'd make our way to Maine. When I was a junior in high school he bought a motorcycle and picked me up everyday from school. We even kissed by the inlet. You know, I DID google him once but it's a fairly popular name...plus what would I say to him now!?! posted by: onebadjen (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (8:15 pm) my ex is mine. pass the kerosene and matches please. posted by: SweetDiva (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (8:28 pm) nope and nope posted by: GottaLuvMe830 (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (4:54 am) Unfortunately I married my hs love and we have been seperated for yrs but I would never change things cuz I have 3 beautiful kids and him and I have great friendship now. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:08 am) Reply to: onebadjen I guess that pretty much sums that up, doesn't it? LOL posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:10 am) Reply to: billlyryan What would you say to him now? How about "Hi, how are you doing?" I have a thing for guys' hands too. :) posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:11 am) Reply to: Godsmack Although you DO have your own zombie moments... Hm, wonder if therre could be a connection there...... posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:15 am) Reply to: grateful1 You're different now. Maybe he is too. It's nice when they've actually grown up. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:16 am) Reply to: FinalyFree I think that's a great theory... If you have gotten it right, why tinker with it? posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:19 am) Reply to: grateful1 A man changing? (picking self off the floor from falling off chair laughing so hard) You have a point there. You're happy and that in itself is a blessing. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:20 am) Reply to: supercarla Uh oh. If this ends up in a total disaster, don't blame me. But if it ends up good, I'm happy to take all the credit for it. LOL posted by: linda (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:52 am) My first real boyfriend in High School was a great guy and a lot of fun. He married and after 20 years of marriage announced that he was gay. NO wonder he was so easy to get along with, Gay guys make the best friends! So obviously there is no future love interest in him., friendship possibly. posted by: NurseNancy (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (5:59 am) yeah, I google them all the time. Then I found that my one big love died of a massive coronary last year. It kind of threw cold water on the fantasy of "what if I met him again?" Other BFs have proven to be fat, balding or both!! I think I'll stick with what I've got!! posted by: trekguy (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (6:21 am) Yes, I was madly in love in college. She got married moved away. Now she lives back in the same town I do, and we've talked. My heart still jumped the very first time I talked to her on the phone! 2 years ago I saw her in the store I was in, once again my heart nearly jumped out of my chest, but I did not go over to her and talk, I was too afraid!! posted by: JT (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (11:26 am) Guilty of googling. I have no idea where either my high school or college boyfriends are. I'm pretty sure they're both married. I don't want to run into them until I've neared my weight loss goal, though... posted by: gambit3131 (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (12:32 pm) The first person I said the L word to was my first girlfriend in college around 1991. I had not seen her since my graduation in 1992. I was behind her at the drive thru at McDonalds in St. Louis in 2000 and she was married. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (1:05 pm) Reply to: gambit3131 Did she see you in the loincloth? posted by: gambit3131 (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (1:23 pm) Reply to: ScubaDiva She did when we were dating. :-p Actually it was an elephant g string. I got it for christmas. it had an elephant face and the trunk was.. well, you probably know what the trunk part was used for. Then if you squeezed the trunk it played Jingle Bells. The only problem was that the trunk was too small. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (1:36 pm) Reply to: gambit3131 Oh baby!!!! (making elephant noise!!!!) Charge me baby! It literally makes me physically sick. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.12.05 (5:09 am) Reply to: JT I haven't googled any of my old bf's. I'm actually still in contact/friends with most of them. A few I might suspect to be behind bars (kiding). The 'one', sometimes I would like to know if he's ok. I still think of him but... If I looked for his contact info and found it, I would want to make contact - and I recall he said when it was over, it was over. (Translation: He can find me if he wanted to) posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.12.05 (5:19 am) Reply to: trekguy Did you feel like you were 19 again? posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 02.12.05 (5:21 am) Reply to: linda At least you didn't marry him!
