02.09.05 (10:59 pm)   [edit]
I fell asleep around 4:30pm on the sofa. Awakened by the Non-Ranger calling (at a non-booty-call hour of 6:30pm!). Woke up at 9:15, pissed that I slept thru "Lost" - the one show that I actually like to watch. And I've been up ever since. Blech.

Got an email from my friend "B" who has a guy he thinks I should meet. "B" told him 'all about me' and gave him my email address because he just knew we'd hit it off. Of course, I got this email from "B" AFTER I got the email from this guy. I almost deleted the email thinking it was spam... The guy is quite witty, owns an event planning/catering company (read: he's a chef). I'm just not really feeling like throwing myself out into the ubiquitious dating pool at the moment.

Granted, in the morning, I may feel totally different about the situation.
I am a woman afterall. :)

Focus on your breathing. Make a list in your head of things you'd like to do in life - wild crazy fun things where money isn't an issue.

Don't let the hen pecking chickens get you down. Fly with the eagles. Soar above their shit.

Ohhh a new one. Why am I not surprised? ;-) I hope that Mr. Witty Chef knows how to treat a lady too. ;-)

Keep watching it - I thought it was going to get hokey but it's great the way they do the storyline...

It's just a witty email. Not like we're getting married. Most guys I'm attracted to appear witty at first... It's not like we say "Oh, he's a total ass, I can't wait to go out with him!!!"

Ethan came and threated that if he didnt get Claire back that he would kill one person nightly till he gets her back So the first nite some guy died (but not a main character) so Jack and Sawyer and 2 others (cant think of their name) thought of putting Claire as bait in the jungle and they would be watching with guns but Charlie couldnt go cuz he didnt know how to shoot a gun (he wasnt happy about that) So that nite Claire is in the jungle and Ethan chases after her and Jack pounces on Ethan and they fight and Jacks gun goes flying and everyone surrounds them and finally Jack beats the crap out of ethan but they want him alive to find out where he is from, whats he doing here, etc.... but then all of sudden Ethan is getting shot at and dies and Charlie did it. Through out all this the keep looking back on Charlies life and u see how he was dating this grl but wanted to steal from her cuz she was rich and he needed $ for a drug fix and he gets a job from her dad selling copiers but the first day he is having detox probs cuz of going all weekend without so he pukes at trying to give a presentation and goes to the hospital and the gf finds out he stole from her and wants nothing to do with him and he tells her all i wanted to do was take care of u that is why I wanted this job. So now we know why he clings to Claire cuz he wants to take care of her. Thats the jist of yesterdays show!

Nope. There are more than just the two of us. (Otherwise, why would ABC keep it on JUST for you???)

IrishRed watches it too. So does Gambit.

Because they can only show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition so many times a week... lol

Lost is one of the best shows I've seen, of late.

Actually, I'm happy to stare at Ty Pennington all day long. Every day. Especially if he has his shirt off.

There's always room for fresh talent. I just rotate the ones past their expiration date out to pasture.
