Fear
12.14.04 (11:59 am)   [edit]
What is your worst physical fear? (Fear of spiders, heights, flying)
What is your worst emotional fear?
Which is worse?
Have you ever overcome a fear?
Have fears impacted your life and/or kept you from living life to the fullest?

My answers are in the comments. :)

Heights.
I was agoraphobic for years so darn near everything could set off an emotional whirlwind - so my biggest emotional fear is that crap may come back some day.
Definitely the emotional fear - I can avoid the height issue ;)
Yes, flying
When I was in full-blown agoraphobia, i could barely leave the house. I could go to work but the grocery was a struggle and going out to eat? a movie? a date? Out of the question.
Thank heavens I got over it.

What is your worst physical fear?
I don't really have any. Hell, I love diving with sharks. I'm not afraid of heights at all, but I won't skydive or bungee jump because I'm accident prone. It seems like common sense to me. (Why do I dive with sharks then? I dunno!)

What is your worst emotional fear?
Rejection/being hurt

Which is worse?
The latter since I really don't have any former.

Have you ever overcome a fear?
Yep. I put myself out there - told someone that I had feelings for that I did - and it was 'well-received'. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Have fears impacted your life and/or kept you from living life to the fullest?
There's not enough room for me to go into detail, but we'll just answer that with a "Yes!"

I HEARD the spider. It was a 2-inch wolf spider. I turned my light on and just about jumped. He was running just above my head and I could hear the pitter patter of his feet. That's why they freak me out now.

No boinic parts. They are all real.

I spoke to an old gf of yours that said she thought you had some rather bionic parts. (giggle)

worst physical fear=moths.
emotional fear=abandonment
I'd rather deal with a thousand moths than be abandoned.
I used to have an irrational fear of the dark and sleeping. I had to overcome both when I joined the Marines.
Moths haven't kept me from anything but fear of being abandoned keeps me behind closed doors lately.

I love your blog!
