Long-distance relationships - Can they be for real?
We hear about them working from time to time. (I swore them off 10+ years ago. I had a habit of getting involved with guys outside my area code. Houston, San Diego, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Rome... And these were pre-internet!)

Discuss.

I don't know if they do or not. I have never had one and don't think I would do well in one. But I'm not going to pass up a possibly great relationship b/c of distance.....

I would have suggested in the past and for the future, invest in a vibrator.
No need for a relationship that will jack up your phone bill.
What.....you mean you need batteries....oh then they could get expensive depending on much you use it. But still it shuts up when you want it too & wont snore. :)

I think long distance relationships are romantic as hell....if you enjoy not knowing, having to guess, not seeing facial reactions, insecurity, longing, missing, always wondering...yes..very romantic :)

I think that they can be for real. I've had some...the hardest thing is just being away from someone you love...but if you're good at getting back and forth on planes and such it can be bearable.

Woo-hoo! You're gonna have to keep us posted. If you were going to Hoboken NJ and uber-enthused, I'd be concerned (and suspicious that there was some alternate reason for your enthusiasm). However, Hawaii AND a dude you have a crush on? Yee haw!!!

Kraze, I am madly in love with you and want to take our relationship 'to the next level'. We need to fly to Canada and get married immediately.

That's right, you can always quit your job, sell your house and move there. Only to find out 2 months later that he bathes only once a month and brushes his teeth twice a week.

Had one...didn't work...didn't do it again. Too much hassle and travel and not enough sex.
