Deeper Methods
11.19.04 (4:18 pm)   [edit]
I don't like the holidays anymore. Spending it with my 'family' really isn't an option and my friends are all either married with families of their own or heading out of town to spend time with their own families.

So it's time for me to lift myself up by the bootstraps. Since retail therapy isn't fiscally reasonable right now, I'm seeking deeper methods...

As Thanksgiving is coming up, what are you thankful for?
(I'm gonna be working on this list myself - time to be grateful)

I love the holidays! I am grateful for my family and my cats and my motorcycle, for the book that I'm reading, and YOU, S.Diva!

Hmm. Yeah. Well, I'm gonna have tons of cheeriness for the Holidays. Mom and Dad are with me til the end of December. They're moving into a new house. :-) This'll be cool though. I can hang...

I'm thankful for a lot of things right now. I feel like life has been very good to me lately in that I am showing some good signs for the future...opportunities aren't there for everyone but I've been fortunate to have landed into a few. I have my family to be thankful for...it seems to be expanding here soon. I went so long without them that I'm very grateful and blessed to see them frequently. I will be an Aunt soon...that's going to be interesting. :-) I'm thankful for my job. It's a good job. I work with good people and that's a huge one to be grateful for. I have my QiGong which is proving to be a huge support factor to me in more ways than I can even fully assess at this point. And I have some good friends who have been coming into my life over the course of the year, as well as a couple who have stuck around even when I've been totally sucky.

:-D

I am thankful for the usual things: my friends and family, my pets, my house, my life, etc.

I'm most grateful for my family, that everyone seems to be healthy and doing well, my folks, though elderly are feeling pretty good and that my brother's new baby is growing and thriving. Happy to be educated and employed doing something I love. Also happy that I survived cancer five years ago and have had the ability to raise my children and love and enjoy them each and every day....Loads of gratefulness here in the Northeast....
