Against my better judgment, I met a guy for coffee on Tuesday. I wasn't feeling great and then when I tried to find something to wear that would work with my drains, I was frustrated. (Not to mention I've gained an ungodly amount of weight in the past 3 weeks laying on my ass). I tried jeans. Too tight. GRRRRRRRR So I was in a bad mood. Body issues, ya know? Anyway, "Tom" has amazing blue eyes. I'm not a particular fan of blue eyes, but they were interesting. He chose "LongHorn Steakhouse" for 4pm. Odd choice. The place was clearly empty but not very intimate - sitting across those big tables makes conversation difficult. I asked a number of questions, hoping to get him to open up and share more about himself - but he just gave rather brief responses. Was hard digging and was odd because he has been rather talkative on our phone calls. So the waitress comes by to check in on us - I say something like "I'm fine" and she interrupts me - no biggie - but he utterly WIGS - I don't recall exactly what he said but it was stern enough that she jumped back and said "WHOA! I was..." I asked him what that was all about - he said 'she interrupted you'. He said later that he was really zonked from work (my word not his). And I think it was credible. He's been doing some mind-game shit with me though so he's on thin ice. I don't do games. |

Don't worry about your date. Maybe he's shy in person and he's only talkative over the phone. That happens to a lot of people. Once you've known him for a while, he'll open up more to you in person.

I don't wear long skirts. My legs are one of my best assests. Always at/above the knee. And the problem is none of my clothes fit since I've been on bedrest for a f'ing month.
Drain comes out Monday. I'm not feeling great this afternoon/evening. Feel really jittery but worse. Not sure what's going on.
Have a good weekend. If I find out you go 1 day without sleeping, I'm gonna have to put on my new red round-toed etienne aigner pumps and kick u in the ass

Damn...
I have reprimanded bad service before...but if it wasn't deserved I just never went there. Seems that he's got a short temper this one. Careful with that.
