Please tell me you have no insurance and that's why you didn't want to be admitted? What's up with your aversion to the hospital? You've got an infection somewhere right? Isn't that what fevers indicate? What part of town are you in? DO you have someone looking in on you? Too many questions right? posted by: FinalyFree (reply) post date: 11.11.04 (5:01 pm) I think possibly you are the only person in the world with more bad medical luck than me. Here's hoping your recovery will go better :-) posted by: lynne (reply) post date: 11.11.04 (5:50 pm) Those kinds of fevers can be scary. I hope you have someone coming by to check on you. posted by: SheSpecies (reply) post date: 11.11.04 (7:49 pm) OMG...babe...this isn't sounding good to me. :-( Don't leave tomorrow for the museum date, please. posted by: riverrat338 (reply) post date: 11.11.04 (8:20 pm) hijacking privelages? ohh...nevermind..i think i get it. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:33 am) Reply to: riverrat338 You're slow... posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:34 am) Reply to: SheSpecies LOL - if I stand up for a few mins, I feel like I'm going to pass out - so that isn't an option. We might meet for a drink tomorrow, depending on how I feel. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:36 am) Reply to: lynne I have 2 feline nurses. A few people are a call away.... posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:36 am) Reply to: FinalyFree Thanks... I'm feeling better. Fever's down to 101. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:41 am) Reply to: alltheblogthatsfittoprint Yes I have insurance but after they did the IV antibiotic, there wasn't much that they could do - being overnight in a hospital means no sleep. And i've spent 2 nights at Crawford Long - the horror stories are unbelievable. Plus - you're more likely to pick up other infections - and since I have autoimmune problems.... *I almost died from an infection I picked up in a hospital when I was 20. I'm doing better - fever's down to 101.5 all day yesterday. Still really woozy and lots of fluid output. Lulu and Sassy are being very attentive. Just wish they would vacuum and do laundry. LOL I'll be fine but thanks for offering. ;) posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:43 am) Reply to: pursejunkie Thanks. I'm working on it. I'm a trooper. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:43 am) Reply to: NurseNancy I'm being good - staying off my feet, taking my meds, staying hydrated and going bonkers. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:44 am) Reply to: Mimi Thank you. I'm working on it. posted by: NurseNancy (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (4:28 am) Reply to: ScubaDiva sounds like you are doing all the right things. and you are absolutely correct when you say the hospital is a hotbed of infection. It's sure no place to be when you're sick!! Resistant organisms are rampant and when you have a compromised immune system, you need extra special care taken. something that is in short supply everywhere in hospitals these days. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (5:45 am) Reply to: NurseNancy You'll laugh at some of my stories... I'll post them today. posted by: SheSpecies (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (12:37 pm) Reply to: ScubaDiva So glad you're not gonna go do it. Wait til at least Sunday or Monday, babe...get better. Plus you don't need to be consuming alcohol right now...nothing that's gonna thin your blood and make you squirt more fluid, lady!! posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (3:32 pm) Reply to: SheSpecies I wasn't going to drink - I rarely drink on dates anyway - being that I'm such a lightweight when it comes to alcohol tolerance. :) posted by: SheSpecies (reply) post date: 11.12.04 (5:11 pm) Reply to: ScubaDiva Hehehehe Smart thinking! posted by: 14u2nv (reply) post date: 11.15.04 (6:30 am) Did you have some sort of infection? posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 11.15.04 (8:56 am) Reply to: 14u2nv Yeah, I think it's syphllis.
