This evening was a new one for me. If it weren't for the 2 large glasses of wine, my jaw would have been on the table... I met "L" who is a friend of a guy I dated for a while at a bar where we talked for a while. Not my type at all - but witty and interesting. Asked me to join him for dinner (I was starving) so I agreed. Over dinner he shares that he is married WITH an 8 year old son. He lives in Florida ("practically divorced -wonder what her take on that is?). Up here Mon - Weds night every week for the next year or so. I replied that was 'neat' and perhaps we could have dinner again sometime. That's when the shoe dropped. First he said how beautiful I am, how piercing my eyes are, blah blah blah. Then he told he had an offer for me. He wanted me to "be available Monday - Wednesday" and he would "take care of all financial needs" I had and "protect" me. Fortunately, I didn't laugh out loud. I just sat there, eating, while listening and wondering how long he would continue. I would not be permitted to date other men. I could only wear jewelry he gave me, etc. In the end, I told him I might be taking a break from work, but that was not the sort of set-up I wanted to explore. What is this? I thought, seriously, that it was one of those 'candid camera' shows. |

Actually, "L" is the potential sugar daddy. My ex had no idea until I called him on the drive home last night.
I can name probably five girls that would jump at the offer from this guy. (Maybe I can make commission?)
However, he IS going to intercede with his contacts at GE to get me a new refrigerator for free - where they've offered me a new one for 60% of retail.

Hon, I have been awaiting approval for disability insurance for five months - no income - I'd have nothing to offer you finanicially - although I give really killer backrubs.

Actually, I don't think it's bad dating karma - if it was boring ho-hum, it would drive me bonkers. With all the adventures, I consider it amusing. Never know what will top this one...

I don't think I could calmly sit there and listen to some joe-blow mess with my integrity, what a jerk. I hope his wife wakes up and takes him for all he is worth. those are the guys that deserve that to happen to them....I think after his speech I would have thrown my drink in the pigs face and then stormed out....

LMAO oh wow, thats wild. What an offer. See I would love someone to do that - well not the same. A bondage Sugar Daddy or Mommy but would just give me money and pay my bills but then would only want bondage out of it all *laughs* I dont know what I would have done if someone acctualy said that to me. Wild adventures you have there Scuba...and not just with that pesky hammock of yours! I sure hope a wife who's man fits this description reads this blog and then sorts our her husband in the way he deserves to be sorted out!
