Diva vs the Hammock Part Deux
08.15.04 (6:05 pm)   [edit]

I decided to sit outside this afternoon and sun my legs/toes while reading a book. In my hammock.

I now have a theory about my inability to balance in it comfortably.

Apparently, one side of my body must weigh 20lbs more than the other. That would explain why I keep getting tossed out.

Or... earth's gravitational pull under my deck is off kilter?

I can't figure it out. But by dammed if my cats didn't sit there and laugh at me again. No tuna for them!

Nope, not a discount one at all. It's by Coleman or something like that.

And, for the record, I had drunk nothing but seltzer water. ;)

I have had a hammock in the past lol and had no problems getting in and out of it.. it's all abt balance Scubs... but then again, maybe you just have it fixed wrong, cos if not staright and off kilter, you'll always have a balance problem! hehe! LMAO! :D

Does your hammock have spreaders. I have a backpacking hammock that is hard to get in and out of but it doesnt have spreaders. I havent had any trouble with a hammock that does.

Spreaders? What's that? I have a spreader for fertilizer, but I don't think that's what we're talking about. LOL

A spreader is a stick with holes in it that the ropes of the hammock go through. It spreads them out.
