posted by: RedneckOtaku (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (4:51 am) I think people use it as a quick access to blogs they enjoy reading. posted by: TorryGirl (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (5:11 am) I know exactly what you mean! It's strange. I get comments on some of my entries that just say "Hello" or "hi" - that's not a comment, it's an introduction! posted by: LastPoeticKiss (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (5:12 am) Yes Scuba, you are being used. I would feel cheap as well. =P But I have to agree with Redneck...easy access with bloggers people like. posted by: deviant1 (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (5:14 am) a grab for those valuable tbucks! Whatever those are good for. BTW (off topic) I can't login to tblog, even after a new password and removing the old cookies I get authentication errors. Anyone know how to solve this? posted by: rinna (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (5:24 am) i agree with redneckotaku and lastpoetickiss too... i get a few like that - and it's like, wtf? x r x posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (5:33 am) Reply to: deviant1 Someone else had that problem a week or so ago. It was something to do with their computer. You can email Rocky or tech support - the links are on tblog.com's home page. posted by: J (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (5:47 am) LOL this is funny. i know what u mean. i used to check out their blog to see whats up with them and if ive talked to them but now i just delete them. weird huh? posted by: Mimi (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (7:03 am) as a relatively new blogger, i think, at least in my case, is that i will go to someone's blog because my sister "knows" them and I like to get to know who her friends are and what they are about, and then, from there, a friend may have mentioned another "blogger friend" and I go there to see, and sometimes I say hello and sometimes, I do not...depending on the feeling I get from reading some of the posts. Should I feel like, hey, we might have a common thread, I go back, etc. So, don't feel used, just feel like someone took an interest to check you out and maybe even thought you were pretty interesting! LOL! big hugs posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (8:18 am) Reply to: RedneckOtaku Easy access eh? posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (8:18 am) Reply to: TorryGirl Or a way to get tbucks? ;) posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (8:19 am) Reply to: LastPoeticKiss I think I need to go shower now. I've gotten quite a few of those too. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (10:05 am) Reply to: SheSpecies good point. posted by: Cyberpal (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (11:42 am) I get it all the time too.... not quite sure what the lick is.. when you work it out lemme know too! :) posted by: likeabadstar (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (6:38 pm) yes you tblog friend WHORE! posted by: JennsAbsent (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (7:09 pm) I thought *I* was the tblog whore. *pouts* posted by: ODUwildman (reply) post date: 07.21.04 (10:21 pm) Hey, you're a tfriend, cause we been here since we both started! You're slightly more popular than I, since I don't talk about hedging my bush. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.22.04 (4:51 am) Reply to: J I delete folks too - I'm like - who the heck are you? And I don't let folks be my friends if I don't know them. I'm discriminating. There are some blogs you read that resonate and at that moment you felt a certain connection with the writer. posted by: eka00 (reply) post date: 07.22.04 (4:59 am) On the other hand what's really weird is this mysterious fellow named "Newbie", he/she doen't have a blog on tblog yet every once in while I recieve an invitation. I don't get it either. posted by: nullfactor (reply) post date: 07.22.04 (8:39 am) Wow, it must be cool being used! I haven't received a single request. I wonder if it's possible to use 'bots to do friend requests? I don't see what the point of 'botting for friends would be, but then again, you never know... :) posted by: Daisymae (reply) post date: 07.22.04 (10:46 am) I too was wondering about that just recently. I don't have many tfriends so to speak...but occasionally do get requests.... posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 07.22.04 (11:27 am) Reply to: Daisymae I'm cleaning house. If anyone's a Tfriend and hasn't commented lately, their tfriend status is rescinded. (I'm crackin' down!) |
