I've been around Tblog for a couple of months and one thing I have never quite understood. Perhaps some of you guys can illuminate something for me... I get "friend requests" constantly from people that 1) never comment on my blog 2) I've never communicated with on Tblurt 3) never communicated via tmail 4) never hear from again. [b][i]Is it just a matter of adding more notches to their bedpost? Am I being used? Should I feel cheap? [/i][/b] |

I know exactly what you mean! It's strange.
I get comments on some of my entries that just say "Hello" or "hi" - that's not a comment, it's an introduction!

BTW (off topic) I can't login to tblog, even after a new password and removing the old cookies I get authentication errors. Anyone know how to solve this?

Someone else had that problem a week or so ago. It was something to do with their computer.

as a relatively new blogger, i think, at least in my case, is that i will go to someone's blog because my sister "knows" them and I like to get to know who her friends are and what they are about, and then, from there, a friend may have mentioned another "blogger friend" and I go there to see, and sometimes I say hello and sometimes, I do not...depending on the feeling I get from reading some of the posts. Should I feel like, hey, we might have a common thread, I go back, etc. So, don't feel used, just feel like someone took an interest to check you out and maybe even thought you were pretty interesting! LOL! big hugs
