Our Primary election in Georgia is Tuesday. I was reading up on some of the candidates yesterday. In one forum in our local newspaper, candidates were given the oppty to share some of their BS on 'topical issues' and some personal information. One guy included that he's "[b]Single, Jewish and has blue eyes". [/b] He's running for CEO of our county. Ohhh! He's single AND Jewish AND has blue eyes. I'm going to vote for him because of those blue eyes. I bet his mom wrote the details. LOL |

I'll be glad when the primaries are over. Recently, I've been getting tons of political-ad phone calls where you answer the phone and it's a recorded message trying to sell you a candidate. Somehow, I must have been placed on the GOP phone list (gasp!) and the calls range from one guy who's ads begin (I swear I am not making this up) with the phrase "This country is being ruined my m&m's ~ mexicans and muslims." To a recording of Reagan saying "Tear down that wall Mr. Gorbachev!" *sigh* I must have been really bad in a past life, because I'm paying for it now. :)

I voted in the Democratic primary last time to boot out an incumbent. And now, I'm harrassed all the time by the Dem's.
So we balance each other out. ;)
