I had a blissful evening so far. Did my workout and then retreated to a long relaxing bath with candlelight and no music this time - we're having a thunderstorm right now. Exfoliated, buffed and moisturized. Feel slippery smooth. (Love that after-pampering feel!) Slipped into a pale green silk nightgown. Finished off with a manicure and pedicure. Decided Fire Engine Red for the week. Va-va-va-voom! ;) Hope everyone has a great evening. I'm going to cuddle up with a book and listen to the rain. |

im jealous as well. my cat knows how to open the bathroom door. that combined with my 2 younger sisters, it's quite impossible to get anything done.

I think the overall recommendation during a thunderstorm is to stay out of the tub too! Hope you didn't receive any extra electrical therapy while you were exfoliating.

ohh..its been a while since I pampered myself like that...actually I tell a lie...its been a couple of days..so Im vain...so I leave dirty dishes in the sink so I can buff myself into a silky state of extasy...;p

My cats have both jumped on the side of the tub and fallen in at times. Talk about an interruption! They are my only housemates.

Hehehe That's so funny about your cats. John's done that once to me too...he went into a sneeze fit cause I think some lavender oil water got into his nostrils. :-)
He is so funny...he likes to hop in the shower with me too. He'll stand there and scrape at the glass doors til I slide them open. Then he just stands in the back corner. Hahaha

Mine won't go near the shower. Although they'll come and sit on the bathmat and scare me when I'm stepping out. If I shower in the guest bath where there is a shower curtain, one of them will scratch at the curtain, which also freaks me out. Sorta a Psycho thing... ;)

That reminded me about something that Johnny did in my guest bath. There are curtains and there's a lacey frilly-ish thing decorating the outside...he was in there horsing around while I was washing my hands. He was doing that cat high jump thing on the wall and on his way down he snagged on the curtain with one of his back paws. I heard a rip and a cat scream...LOL It was sort of hysterical and sad at the same time. He was pretty upset after that. LOL
