I am picking up a brother/sister kitten set tomorrow. Hopefully, they will make me laugh. They are black with white toes. Seven weeks old.

I'm tempted to name them Trick & Treat since I'm getting them on Halloween. But I'm thinking I'd like to name them Scout and Jem - since they are siblings.

It won't erase what I'm feeling but it's a start...

I think this is perfect. Another two fuzzy ones for you to love and share laughs with.

Good to hear that you are getting Trick and Treat tomorrow ~ on Halloween to boot! Perfect!

The names sound so much alike, but do cats really respond to only their name? I mean if you call one, do they not both come; as in thinking a treat or something is being offered? And how neat that they are each black ~ I vote for Trick and Treat!
Well, I guess they ARE your kitties ~ okay, you get to make the final call on that one! :D

Maybe Puss & Boots?

Lulu and Sassy knew their names (and nicknames). I also called Sassy "the sassinator" and "boo" and she responded to those. Lulu responded also to "pumpkin" and "miss lulu".

I think I am leaning more toward Scout and Jem but I'll take time. And I'll definitely post pictures and give feedback on their personalities. (or is that purr-sonalities?)

Or Yin & Yang. Lots of possibilities. I thought because of the sibling issue that it would be cute to name them after the siblings from "To Kill a Mockingbird"...

I always thought that if I ever had another dog, I would name it..Hurry Up! That's my most used words at the dog anyway ...might as welll be it's name!

Some people come up with some odd names for dogs. I forget some of the clever obscene ones I've encountered.

Reply to: scubadiva ~

So it is in reference to the movie ~ it is funny but I thought her brother's name was Jeb, but I checked it out and of course you are right, it is Jem ~ cool!

Have fun ~ and as the others have said, can't wait for pics. I'm so excited that you can get these two and so quickly. Good for you!!!

*Happy Halloween* ~ ((hugs))

PS - on another note, I saw where the Atlanta Acquarium was on the news the other night in regards to water conservation and how ecology-minded they are ~ Good one!
