First of all, I'd NEVER think of carrying two laptops with assorted paraphernalia, wearing 3 1/2 inch heels, and walking up 14 floors ~ call 911 because I'd need my head examined ~ by a sexy doctor, of course! Whew is right SZ!! I can hardly type I am so exhausted just imagining such a feat!!!!! ...even w/o the computer stuff ~ if you survived, yes, you've done your cardio for the day!!! huff/puff/huff!! posted by: LadyG (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (3:43 pm) Ridiculous, was it an old building? posted by: blackcherry925 (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (7:20 pm) You would never catch me in 3 1/2 inch heels walking anywhere. Period. I applaud you, for making it 14 floors. I would have died. I'd say you've done your cardio for the next three weeks. posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (8:13 pm) Reply to: squirrelzone I guess I should include some sneakers in my bag for emergencies? posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (8:13 pm) Reply to: blackcherry925 I'm ALWAYS in at least 3 inch heels. Except when I'm working out. posted by: squirrelzone (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (8:15 pm) Reply to: scubadiva Sneakers and a towel to dry yourself off. posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (8:16 pm) Reply to: LadyG Not a brand new building but it's fairly new. And with 20 floors, there's a lot of people in there. I can't believe that everyone is so complacent about it. (What if I was in a wheelchair?) And with all the stairwells locked, what if it had been an emergency? posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (8:17 pm) Reply to: auntconi Fortunately, I was able to take the elevator down. It was lunchtime and the masses were heading down to the restaurants. (But what goes down must go up, right? So what was the deal with the elevators?) posted by: auntconi (reply) post date: 09.20.07 (8:41 pm) Reply to: scubadiva, Absolutely ~ what was the deal with the elevators? I am glad you survived my dear. posted by: scubadiva (reply) post date: 09.22.07 (5:36 am) Reply to: auntconi I was trapped in an elevator for quite some time a few months ago when the power went out. Fortunately, I was alone and could entertain myself. |
