Bitch bitch bitch
03.23.06 (4:43 pm)   [edit]

People that get on an elevator to go up/down one level piss me off. Unless you're wearing stillettos. And inevitably, they are wearing perfume that will suffocate all of us long after they leave the elevator.

I have a headache. I am cranky and sleep-deprived.
Can someone research whether lack of sleep is a legal defense for temporary insanity for

a) ripping out the vocal cords of the yappy Pomeranian next door

b) telling a businessperson that I'm dealing with to go stick his head in a wood chipper.

Wait. If I mention it, it's premeditated right? So I'm typing this in invisible ink so that only people with special powers can see it. I'm listening to the voices in my head. They like pink invisible ink.

The elevator issue bothers me, also. It seems most of us will go to almost any length to avoid exercise. I'll give you a laziness/health issue that is irritating me at this time. It involves persons who are extremely overweight and out of shape, and experiencing multiple adverse health issues, yet refuse to adopt healthy eating habits or any kind of exercise discipline. These people often want me to pray for their diabetes or upcoming surgeries. So often they are truly nice people, and I know not all health problems are because of obesity and sedentary lifestyle. But many are. I think it is a sin to abuse one's body for a lifetime, and then seek a miracle cure from God. Just my rant for the day.

Feel better now? LOL

Now what is your official position on people that wear perfume/cologne that can choke a horse? What sort of sin is that?

I think my neighbor reads my blog because there was no barking - not a single one - last night. ;)

I don't get upset if it's after lunch and she is wearing stillettos. But then again, I always take the stairs unless I'm in a rush/late, or it's more than 8 floors. I'll go up the stairs in heels but won't go down in heels.

its an ongoing joke here at work that if anyone is busted going up and down one floor- that everyone in the elevator talks about them when they get out. so now when people do it- they apoligize sheepishly and hang their heads in shame upon exiting.

I know what you mean about people who use the elevator to go up one floor and stinking it up. When I was in college, there was a big ol' gal who was smoking (yes, this was when you could smoke inside) and she got in the elevator with a lit cigarette and went from floor one to floor two. I had to go to floor ten with the smoke in the elevator. I was not happy.

People here at work get on and go up one floor. I can understand the older people and the heavy set people, but the rest have no excuse unless they are carrying something.

Cheer up SD, A six-year study Kripke headed up of more than a million adults ages 30 to 102 showed that people who get only 6 to 7 hours a night have a lower death rate than those who get 8 hours of sleep.

And what does the study say about people that get 2 hours of sleep thanks to the neighbor's yapping dog despite earplugs for ANOTHER night?
