My Thanksgiving was a very nice quiet one. I *did* speak to "the mother" who had to find a way to get her guilt-ridden stirring up shit stuff in - in a 5 minute phone call. She said... "I don't know what I've done to you all these years to make you shut me out of your life completely." I didn't say a word. I'm thinking "This is a loaded gun, no-win situation." She says "Hello?" I said "I don't see the point of even responding to that." To which she says "I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving" (Click)She hangs up. And to think an exchange like that is going to make me want to spend time with her? Uh, NO! |

Sounds like my mom..she went out of town for the holiday..but If I had done the same thing she would have shamed me for years on end.

I haven't been up to much today. Such is life. My life's been basically dull today, but that's how it is.
I've basically been doing nothing worth mentioning. Not that it matters. I just don't have anything to say these days. I've just been hanging out waiting for something to happen. Not much on my mind these days.
Pretty much nothing seems worth thinking about. Maybe tomorrow. My life's been generally bland today. Such is life. I've just been sitting around doing nothing, but eh.
