Get better soon! posted by: kreativekat (reply) post date: 09.27.05 (11:36 am) Glad surgery went well for you. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 09.28.05 (10:48 am) Reply to: Dstar No cinnamon... In all of my post-op experiences, never encountered cinnamon-topped grahams. But you DO realize you can actually buy them at the grocery store, don't you? posted by: almsthvn (reply) post date: 09.30.05 (3:05 am) I'm glad to hear it went well. My anesthesewhoosit was adorable, too! and that was before the meds ;) posted by: NurseNancy (reply) post date: 10.03.05 (11:08 am) sorry this is late but I'm glad you made it through OK! and you are right, recovery is easier when the patient is nice and warm in the OR, and my IVs NEVER fail to work properly!! depends on the veins ,tho!! posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 10.06.05 (8:01 am) Reply to: NurseNancy Everyone ALWAYS raves about what great veins I have. (I'd much rather have a great ass but apparently we don't get much say in the situation) I still have an awful bruise from where the IV went. And she was a nursing supervisor. (Maybe she was out of practice?) I was a really nice patient - I shaved my legs and gave myself a pedicure ahead of time. I was there early, was cooperative and followed instructions.I didn't throw up on anyone and I was polite... |
