I have a cold. I made chicken soup (from scratch, not a can) yesterday. Drinking grapefruit juice. Letting it run its course. Just hope I don't hack up a lung in the process. Was at the gym today on the circuit weights doing chest presses when I sneezed something awful. Nothing like projectile yellow snot to interrupt your focus. I raided my home pharmacy. Damn, I have a lot of good meds if I want to become a junkie. Was deciding which medication to take for the ebola virus that I'm suffering from. Would someone please explain to me how you can go from having one nostril completely congested to miraculously having that one clear, only to have the other one simultaneously get clogged up? Is this one of the mysteries of nature? |

I too, have encountered the magically clearing sinus cavity, I think that the virus-es (?) think of it as a vacation, and just dont wanna miss nothing, when one of them goes to check out a new area, they all just follow. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

They keep going back and forth. It's rather annoying. My brain is completely full of snot. I have a counseling appt this afternoon and no voice. Should be interesting...

I know that'a bitch when the nostrils do that..but we have to be lucky not both at same time..well yeah that happened to me..got a panic attack! I had to breath soley through my mouth..which was worse...cotton mouth not to mention more germs entering at faster pace. I have part runny nose and sore throat..sudafed time..swear by that...get well...and girl hope you don't mind,but adding ur blog to my links *-*

You know, I have often wondered why one side of the nose is closed!!!!! If you ever figure out the reason, please post it here.

I think there's a little man in my nose that just opens the flow to one nostril and then shuts it down and opens the others. And then, for amusement, sometimes he does both. That's my theory.

i feel ya on the being sick thing
i'm not forsure if i'm sick or if it is just sinus / allergies??
tell me how does one be stuffy and can't breath but the nose still drips and runs? can blow it but it's draining (TMI) sorry lol
sneezing and water eyes
if i breath to deeply i feel like someone hit me in the cheast
but i don't feel sick, other than the light headness if i move to quickly
and last night i think i ran a fever cause i was HOT all night and its not hot temp was probably in the 50's last night
coughing? girl let me tell u just so i could get some sleep and not hack all night u took a very large dose of nitemite meds ... sleep good for about two or three hours then i was up hacking AGAIN. headache....
need i go on?
hope u feel better .... cause I DON'T!!

All the Nyquil I ingested (a whole bottle in an 18 hour time span), cleared me up. (Nurse Nancy would have my hide if she reads this)
I still have an occasional deep chest cough, but I sounded ok enough for surgery on Tuesday.
Sending you my leftover homemade chicken soup with lotsa garlic. Whenever I'm sick, the only things I can taste are garlic and pepper, so I load my soup up with it.
Camp out this weekend with some books or movies and lay low. Hope you feel better and I hope I didn't pass along my cold to you.
I'd offer a hug but I don't want your germs.
