Do not drown
07.16.05 (3:21 am)   [edit]
Gotta love the National Weather Service. We've had "Flash Flood Warnings" pretty much on a daily basis for the past 10 days.

Here's the last sentence of the most recent warning:
IF YOU SEE FLOOD WATERS...REMEMBER TO TURN AROUND AND DO NOT DROWN.

Making note to self: Do not drown. (Check)
I guess this is the person that instructs us not to use our hairdryer while showering.

Did they *really* need to remind us not to drown? If someone needs to be reminded, they should do the gene pool a favor and drown themselves.

"your inconsiderate drowning will cause extra work for the rescue teams"

I'm kinda thinking that perhaps it might be a good thing - if they are stupid enough to drown themselves, they are doing the world a favor.

It is just mother nature's way of "natural selection".
