A Bad Apple
06.29.05 (9:32 am)   [edit]
I really hate bitter angry people that don't have a clue who you are and decide to leave judgmental comments. Does it make them feel better? I realize that they have to have no life and have much more voids in their lives than myself. Pretty darn pathetic.

With the veil of the internet, some people just think they can say whatever they want from reading one posting...It's easy to be critical and not think of the impact and consequences that they may have on another. (Not that what she said really impacted me, but if she can say such ugly things to me, I hate to think what she's saying to others...)

And I hope this particular (new) tblogger gets a dose of karma. A big one.
But she's blocked from my blog now. Tblog doesn't need a bad apple like this rotten one.

Oh my!

That's the one thing about this blogging-thing that can get out of control.

I'm glad she has been blocked from your Blog. I hate reading comments that just slam the writer.

"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"... right? (Unless they actually ask for advice!)

Someone that clearly has 'issues' that make mine look like itty bitty ones. LOL

I always figure that people who feel a need to make annonymous nasty comments on someone's blog probably have bigger problems than I will ever have.

Maybe she is one of those women who cant stand it when her spouse pays any attention to another woman? Maybe she is angry at him but instead of dealing with him, she lashes out at other women. It is a common enough scenario, no?

This isn't an anonymous commentor. If you go back to my posting from yesterday about my dinner w/ a married man, you can figure it out. This person is new. (I've blocked them from my blog) but someone went on the commentor's site and made some rather un-nice anonymous comments. I don't support either one of them.

I think making judgments, esp of someone that is 1) new to tlbog 2) based on 1 posting is wrong. This person even went to the extent of tmailing me twice about it in addition to the comments.

Now, if YOU said you met some guy on a street corner and decided to move him in after knowing him 2 days, I think we have a rapport enough that I (and several others) would say WTF are you thinking...?

But this is not the case. Although I think you are definitely due a spin on the romance tilt-a-whirl..

Hence the wonderful "BLOCK" feature on Tblog.. No more comments from that wench. Until she figures out how to post anonymously. LOL

I didnt know you could block a single tblog user. I will have to remember that in the future.

As for the romance tilt-a-wheel. I have decided that it probably isnt going to happen. I have high standards and limited options. But, hey, if it happens, I'll be open to it.

I'm not going to the trouble of doing that because I have some friends that comment that aren't tbloggers....

Blocking her trifling self is sufficient.

In over a year of tblogging, I've blocked 2 people. I guess one-a-year is enough. LOL

Good for you fro not listening to her. Why do people have to be negative towards others anyway. I think your blogs are fun and sometimes entertaining and you have excellent comeback phrases for your friends. Don't let one bad apple spoil your fun.

When it is constructive, I welcome feedback. However, when it is unfounded, mean-spirited, and /or misspelled, I think that the source of the criticism (aka the critic) needs to look at themselves. They look petty and, dare I say, childish?

I blog for me. Not for you or anyone else. I'm not here for entertainment purposes. It's MY life. I make no apologies for the tone - I have no control over life events. If you are looking for something is guaranteed to make you laugh, you need to watch reruns of your favorite sitcom.

I dare you to honestly put yourself in my shoes (3 inch minimum strappy sandals) and try to keep a sense of humor about most of my life goings-on. Could you do it? Do you even have a clue as to the REAL story?

I doubt it. I think you (as some other petty negative people) get swept away with some of my sardonic satire and miss the big picture. You're making JUDGMENTS on a glimpse of what you perceive of me.

I hope, for whatever jollies it gets you, that you feel better by making your negative comments.

Do you feel bigger, better now?
