I wonder sometimes if Mothers are completely out of touch with how their Mom's made them feel... I have to laugh a little about the clean thing. My Mom does that same thing to me when she comes over for a visit. I'm surprised she doesn't come with a white glove. ;-) posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (11:00 am) Reply to: SheSpecies I have 'contractor grade' laminate floors (cheap and the finish is wearing off). They always look dirty b/c they are such a pale color. Despite sweeping, swiffering, mopping - she still raises her eybrow. Drives me f'ing nuts already - I hate the way the floor looks, I don't have to have her remind me... I was very nice about the flowers. I am taking it as a gesture of concern and trying not to focus on the allergy thing. It would only end up in another 'martyr' scene. I'm stopping the mothering cycle. I ain't spawing... posted by: LastPoeticKiss (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (11:20 am) *gives you a bunch of fake, but looks real roses* there now you can look and them, love them...AND you wont get a headache!!!! wee damn that was very ignorant of your mother. but she only meant good. posted by: Daisymae (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (11:38 am) *hugs* for the diva! No matter what kind of diva you choose to be, you'll still be our favorite diva! posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (11:38 am) Reply to: KRAZEDONE Or... I could leave a trail of rose petals from the sprinkler to my bed... I'd prolly end up with my creepy neighbor showing up and shaving my nether regions for nothing. posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (11:39 am) Reply to: LastPoeticKiss Mothers. Can't live with them - can't shoot them. ;) posted by: SheSpecies (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (11:56 am) LOL Not a breeder, eh, Scuba? You'd be sneezin yer bum off in my house right now, yo. I trimmed off some flowers in my yard. My rose bushes are full of blooms and there's some in about every room of my house now. Laminate floors are such a fucking headache. When I bought this house there were some upstairs in the kitchens/bathrooms, as well as downstairs. I got some dudes to facelift it off and put in some tile...it was so hard to peel off. posted by: LastPoeticKiss (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (12:13 pm) Reply to: ScubaDiva thats so from st. elmos fire! lol :P posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 06.06.04 (12:20 pm) Reply to: LastPoeticKiss That's a blast from the past! I was always torn between the Judd Nelson character *named Alex (which was the name of the guy I was dating at the time) and the Rob Lowe one. And, as a bonus, the name of the character Ally Sheedy played is very similar to my own. That's for the trivia buffs! posted by: dumblondegirl (reply) post date: 06.07.04 (2:42 am) Roses are kinda stinky. I've never been a huge fan of them in large numbers. I hate bouquets in general. I mean, they die!? I'd be more touched by a house plant or something along those lines. My husband buys me alcohol. Hope you feel better hun :) posted by: ScubaDiva (reply) post date: 06.07.04 (5:31 am) Reply to: Cyberpal Awww. posted by: misskendy (reply) post date: 06.07.04 (5:35 am) My motto is beware of boyz bearing flowers! They usually have just done something bad!!! ~muah~ posted by: zHenzZ (reply) post date: 06.07.04 (7:23 am) receiving flowers occasionally are SurpRisiNg... but when it gets too often, it becomes a bother! haha...but saddest thing is not getting any flower during romantic days like Valentines...*sign*
