For Misty...
05.31.04 (12:31 pm)   [edit]
I am so sad. I emailed a friend I haven't heard from in a while. He's a DEA agent - his partner - aka his mistress, is a dog - named Misty. I just got a reply from his son - he was shot serving a warrant and they killed Misty. I'm glad he's ok - relatively speaking - his arm is in a sling. But those fucking monsters that would kill a dog. I hope they rot in hell. He and Misty had such a connection and he loved her so much. I can't imagine how terrible this must be for him.

Memorial Day is for those soldiers that lost thier lives serving our country, but let's all remember those service animals too. Misty served us for belly scratches and doggie treats.

That is terrible.

I can think of a lot of humans on this planet who deserve to die long before any dog.

Makes me want to run home and give mine a hug.

My uncle was a K-9 cop... I know how hard it was on him when his dog was retired... couldn't imagine what would have happened if he was killed.

aww that is so sad! i hate when i hear about animals killed in the line of duty, (or anytime, for that matter). but like, these dogs dont ASK to be cops or soldiers or officers, they are just dragged into it, if they are willing or don't fight it. and then this is what they get? stupid humans.

His son is taking care of him right now - emailed me that his dad is really depressed right now - that the other dogs keep walking around the house looking for Misty. (And that makes him cry) But, he did say she didn't suffer - but I still hope the guy that shot her did suffer - that he got shot in the nuts and bled a slow painful death.

He's got 2 other dogs... I don't think a kitten would last longer than lunch...

Beides, they fart too much. You're in Tennessee and he's in Savannah...

His son emailed me later and told me he's having a rough time. I can't imagine. This is a big tough guy - I bet he killed the SOB that shot him.

Awwwwwwwwww. That just put a tear in my eye. :-( What a bunch of creeps out there. That reminded me of this thing I saw on the news here recently. Some crank-smoking, toothless-type, truck driver bastard-fuck-for-brains got high. He was aggravated at his baby beagle-pup and took it out of the truck and started beating it senseless, kicking it, bashing it into the cement curb. Some citizens had to go control the creep and take the animal to the vet. It was sooooo sad. The puppy made it, luckily. Then they showed the man (who was in custody) talking into the camera saying that he knew he was a dumbass and that people were going to think he was stupid but that he was sorry. He made a public apology to his doggie and said he wanted to take him home. :-(

I hope there is a special place in hell for people that harm animals.

Enjoyed our chat too. I've been thinking. I read somewhere that garlic speeds up healing - your son is just trying to get you back on your feet faster, not trying to kill you with a garlic overdose.
