Something HUGE!
05.14.04 (6:41 pm)   [edit]
Someone advised me that they will often use magnets on the ears to help accupunture patients lose weight. Since I won't be back to see her for 2 weeks, I thought I'd "improvise" since I'd like to lose a few pounds.

I currently have 2 refrigerator magnets clipped to my ears. (The alpahabet ones didn't seem strong enough, so I have some clippy magnets - those seem like STRONG ones)

Tomorrow I'm going to find one of those really big magnet doo-hickey machines that picks up junker cars and stick my head to those for a few hours.

I'll keep you posted. I think I'm on to something BIG!

I woke up this a.m. a pound lighter. (Granted I'm on a 900 cal.day liquid protein diet and work out 90 mins a day...) Maybe that had something to do with it? LOL

I'll be "testing" different types of magnets in a effort to make it a more "scientific" study. If it works and I can eat carbs again, ...

TY TY - Actually, Mr. Trusty konked out a while ago. I had a discussion with a friend about how to properly dispose of him and give him the respect he deserves. I have some more ideas for his last rites...

I had accupuncture yesterday and someone had mentioned that they had gotten the treatment to lose weight - the procedure involved putting magnets on their ears. I could stand to lose a few pounds, so I figured refrigerator magnets couldn't hurt. (It's a joke - I don't know if the accupuncture magnets work on the ears...)

I woke up this morning with a couple of forks attached to my head. There could be side effects that one must be careful of.
