Dating & Truffles
05.03.04 (1:17 pm)   [edit]
"Sometimes love doesn’t come to us. We have to go out hunting. It’s like pigs looking for truffles. It’s called dating."
Patti LuPone

Now, in this quote who are the pigs and who are the truffles? LMAO

Love is the truffle, we are all the pigs.

OK, I'm the pig.

From experience, most men I've dated are pigs. I'd like to think of myself as a truffle sans dirt.

"From experience, most men I've dated are pigs"

Sad but true. Must be the GM cheetos.

"I'd like to think of myself as a truffle sans dirt"

We got those here in the South of France. Speciality of a town named Hyères: Truffes au chocolat (no need for a translation, right :-)
Very very yummy too!

I know I'm like the only female in the world to say this, but I hate chocolate. So, I've never tasted a truffle - although I know you can prepare them in other ways - Atlanta is not known for having a strong truffle supply...

I've never had the spore variety of a truffle, although I have had "truffle oil".

Chocolate truffles are mmmm mmmm mmm mmmm mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Ok, so they are REALLY good.

(I agree with Music. Truffle is Love, we're all pigs. Although you my dear are a diamond in the rough.) ;-)

Would I get in trouble if I asked who wants to jump in the mud? As a pig that is. In this metaphoric way of speaking.
