i wrote a blog about this as well a while back because i was in a three year relationship and had only had sex about once or twice in the last year..it sucked. it was hard. at the time i just told myself that wasnt the important thing in the relationship and thats not what mattered, but really we didnt do it because the relationship was shitty and had gone sour. i found out after we broke up that she had cheated on me.. anyway..what i learned is to be less tolerant, not to ignore my instincts, and know when its time to walk away.

That's commendable. Doesn't usually pan out that way - but hold out as long as possible. I waited until I was 18 (well a week before).
I'm 32 and never married - I wouldn't want to wait this long - I would have just married some fool to just get laid! LOL
Every day seems great in theory - but I can promise you that every day might happen in the beginning...
There's an old wives tale that tells you to put a bean in a jar every time you have sex the 1st year of marriage and take one out each time afterwards - you'll never have as much as you did the first year as you do the rest of the marriage. (Granted, it is an old wives tale...)

The only time I've gone long periods was after my children were born. I need sex to exist. It's a fact I've discovered about myself. After my first son was born, C and I only waited 9 days. Woah sally.

I think as he put it, his penis suffered some injury in the act. Fake fingernails can hurt... So in a way, it was a genital mutiliation.
